That's really lovely!! I was going to comment that it put me in mind of certain art movements, but you've a few tagged I was thinking of
While he tended to do his own thing, the motions and repetitions of some patterns do put me in mind of a couple of Duchamp pieces. However, your palette is your own, and I see influences of a few other cubists/early surrealists/ a touch of dada.
This kind of picture is something that really excites me, because you're taking elements of very old movements, and adapting them in your own way, creating work more relevant to the modern world. The absurdism of creating furry art using these old techniques would likely have amused and pleased many of the originators (though not Picasso, and certainly not Breton, unless you could convince him out was capital A Art, the hypocrite. Duchamp, Tzara, and DalΓ would likely give it high praise, though!) Furry itself would have likely interested Duchamp in particular, who was interested in identity and actually had a female alter ego!
Oh God, I wrote all that. I'm really sorry to come and weird out in your comments, I'm just... Um, well, I'm an art major, you see, and have particular investment in the movements I spoke of. I'm adhd and get really excited, and I can't think of where to trim the fat bc it all seems important.

OOOHHH it's not weird at all, I really appreciate this comment! Duchamp was a particular inspiration for this piece, and the client sent me some Picassos to use as inspiration as well. I'm so glad that this piece resonated with you, and you were also able to pick up immediately on the inspirations. Thank you so much!
