I think you could tweak the shoulder pad just a bit to make it look like an adjustable stock. Other than that looks pretty solid.

It actually is an adjustable stock, or at least an extendable one. We (read I) were just too lazy to make a variant where it's extended to showcase that, on account of us basically having almost 1:1 ripped off the SMG2

There are so many examples of not just being an inspiration, but some even just BEING the gun in the fictional material. The amount of actual weapons just basically being casemodded to look fancy is staggering X3

You could probably find use for an ultra-shrot-barrelled automatic shotgun, but you're likely going to get more milage out of a dedicated design, rather than adapting this one.

But looks more like a machine pistol than SMG.

I like the simple, blocky design. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done very well at close quarters. Probably straddles the line between a SMG and a PDW, especially with the collapsed stock. Despite looking like a brick that shoots smaller bricks at approximately 1,000 bricks per minute, I image it's inadvisable to swing it like one if the enemy gets in your personal space. The polymer body is rugged, but not that rugged.
