Ah, no sling? You can clear jams, though if the gun weighs too much for you to run fast I can see abandoning it, particularly something like a SAW that takes belts and is big, heavy, and slow to reload.
Technically, the uzi is almost 8 pounds, unless I'm misidentifying that. Still, even a secondary gun, PARTICULARLY one that is a bullet hose like the uzi and pretty much any other SMG, should have spare mags, though they might just be on her other side out of sight.
