XD I actually love this song.
I have a lot of respect for Kesha. I KNOW. This sounds insane. But I read some of her quotes and the things she has to say, and I have to respect her. She's not trying to be a Miley Cyrus or an angelic influence on children. Can she control that kids listen to her? No, not really. But does that mean that she, and every scantily clad female artist who wants to sing about their views on life, should censor themselves?
Noooot if you ask me.
Where I get the anger of scantily clad woman being wild causing a "bad influence" on kids or something, I also see how their confidence in themselves, and their surety of who they are, as a good thing. I like that Kesha is real, in a sense that there are plenty of girls in the world who ARE just like her.
Maybe she is weird. And maybe people DO think she's some kind of Lady Gaga wannabe (everyone thinks that about EVERYONE right now :| Annoying! ) but she's got a nice groove to some of her songs, and she ain't trying to fool anyone into thinking she's something else. She's just wild and outrageous and noisy. XD And entertaining.
On a random note: You know what makes me crazy? That parents flip out about this whole "BAD INFLUENCE ON THE KIDS" thing. Lemme tell you what. I remember doing and watching and singing all kinds of things that were probably inappropriate when I was a kid. But I had NO IDEA what any of it meant. Until some adult freaked out and explained it.
:x Self fulfilling prophecy?
OMGSORRYIRANTED.
This picture is so goddamn cute though, I love it. I really wanna draw her...you. XD the fuzzy pink mink. <3
(I actually don't remember if she was a real mink, but it rhymed!)
