So Shauna Devlin, my black furred vixen, has this thing with jumping universes. She's made it into at least four different worlds by my count. Being that I am a ginormous dork and love Star Wars, I now have a half Defel Shauna running around my brain... who is far less sexy than her mercenary counterpart. Or any of her counterparts. In fact, she's just plain scary.

Defel are a toothy SW species known for the odd properties of their fur, which leaches light in such a way as to render them almost invisible in shadow. They appear matte black or dull brown in direct light. They glow pretty colors in ultraviolet light. And they are spiky and toothy. With glowy red eyes.
