Don't know bout spineless, but he surely is a manipulator, pulling the strings of many events. That being said he also know the importance of making a good entrance and give a cool impression, as well as being samrt enough to predict his opponents moves(in part helped by the predictability of his opponents-cookie need to really start thinkign out of the box if she want to get a chance against this vicious cat)

Freydar, since you are clearly mad at this point, could you please punch him in the face? Even just once?
Seriously speaking, it seem like a great moment to finally reveal the connection between these two... Gonfano seem a bit too tolerant toward her exploit nowaday for her use being just gaining the trust of the other combagals from the Fortune's Factory in the past.

Yeah, and he seem concerned about her health, first time i see him show such empathy. I think his lonk with Freydar is much more complex that simple chessmaster/pawn.

You are correct, he seems to have more concern for Freydar than for anyone else when they get injured.

Well, Shun makes a convenient entrance to stop Freydar. I wonder how it will end. Freydar attacked him on her first appearance, but Shun wasn't afraid of her.

In addition to the Girl Power moment, Shun makes a dramatic appearance to try to make Freydar see reason; this gets interesting.
