Theme 32 of the 100 theme challenge, this one is Night, and Akeli's beautiful little snow leopard, Kotu. :) I sort of cheated, this is also the 10K kiriban pic she won, but I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. xD

I do too usually, shhh, don't tell anybody. xp But I'm forcing myself to draw backgrounds, or at least make some attempt at them. The 100 theme challenge helps a lot. xD
You can tell I lost interest in the pic when I got about halfway through the bg, I still lazily used grass brushes. xp Someday I will ... get to the point where I'm not doing that. I think it's hard for most people to do bgs, unless you're really ... hardcore. The character is so much more interesting, usually.

I think the theme challenge would really help me improve, but I just don't have time. /cry
I don't see brush usage as lazy. You actually worked on spacing them right and whatnot. I didn't realize they were brushes until I really studied the pic. :> Brushes only look lazy if you're actually lazy with 'em! ;P
