A lovely Christmas Commission by  Mittens


So this Christmas, a good friend of mine said they wanted something specific. And by something, they meant, Someone. Finding the person they wanted as a Christmas Present was easy enough, but wrapping him up as a present was another story.

When I found who I was looking for, I was able to knock him out, toss him in my sack and take him home. I then took out all the boxes and wrapping paper and began to get my friends present ready. The first thing I did was take off all his clothes and belongings, then I took some thick ribbon and had him fully mummified. I made sure no part of his body showed.

After that was taken care of, I picked him up and folded his body so it would fit into the box. I then tossed in some tissue paper and packing peanuts so he’d be cozy and wouldn’t get banged up. Once I closed the box, I took some red wrapping paper and carefully and neatly wrapped the box. Then I grabbed some green ribbon and tied it around the box good and tight and made a stylish bow on top.

After I wrapped my friends present, I got changed into a Santa Clause costume. As I got dressed, I heard a slight thunk and looked at the present. The box was shaking and muffled noises were coming from it. I assumed that the guy woke up and was trying to get out, but I wrapped him and the box well.

I knew he wasn’t getting out of there. I rubbed my hand on the top of the box and told him not to fuss and that Christmas was almost here. I hear him muffle and I carried the box into the closet. The last thing I said was my friend was really going to like him. The box shook and guy muffled as I closed and locked the door.
