This brings back memories of my school days and carrying a backpack full of oversized textbooks. It was hard on the days I had to walk home when I origianlly road on the bus (even then, it was hard trying to hold it while sitting). I walked about 7miles to get home on the days I missed the bus or just didn't want to ride (which was quite often). Thanks for sharing!
Yeah I walked home every day because the bus didnt go to my house it passed right by it because I lived about half a mile down the road from the school in the trailer park just down the road so had to cross the street then walk straight to get home. Not as long a trek but I rember one day my back pack failed and broke literally the bottom of it split and I had to gather everything and just carry it. Yeah it hard to carry homework home especially when like every class gave it to you. They need to give kids two sets of books one they can keep at school and one for home use. *lol*
Aw wow. My bag broke on me before to but it broke just as I left my classroom to head home >.< I hated that because all the weight was on one shoulder of the strap that was left.
The idea of two sets of books sounds like a good idea. But then some schools, like mine for instance, was always short on supplies so sometimes we had to share books that were loaned and couldn't take any home.
