He draws more wolves than foxes with their slim snouts, so when I showed this to some of my friends, I remember them commenting it looks sort of like a dog. I thought the piece turned out well! If anything it was a fun stylistic change to see my character with a "wolfier" look. In the end, sometimes giving artists aesthetic freedom can result in enjoyable diversions like this.
