Ahaaah, the horror! I remember back when I was a kid I was absolutely sure I had one stuck on my back under my shirt and couldn't get it away.. I ran araound all crazy and crying desperately trying to remove it haha! Ever since then I can hardly stand to look at them, although I have to admit they look kind of nice when it's from the othe side of the screen :)
When I was younger, I was already afraid of heights.
I was alone at my brothers beach house one day.
I thought I heard the car coming back up the drive and went out onto the back porch to see if it was him.
It wasn't and when I tried to go back inside, I found the door had locked trapping me on the little back porch with no way to get back in or down to the ground with out jumping.
I was probably about 4 feet tall at the time and it was about 20 feet from the railing to the ground so I probably wouldn't have ever jumped but ...
As I tried to get back in, I disturbed the hornets nest over the door.
They all started stinging me.
The only way to get away from this was to fall the 20 feet to the ground and run for the water.
Did I mention I am also already afraid of water.
Ever since then, I have had a phobia of all flying insects.
