That sort of realization just gives me the chills. The injury to Freydar's head did not just make it dangerous for Freydar to fight in terms of injuring her more (that one more hit to the skull would make her go blind), but brought damage to her brain. I couldn't imagine how deep into the head that injury must have been, based on that huge scar on her side of her head! And her mind may have been further ruined by the drugs she got addicted to, like the painkillers. No wonder she wasn't allowed to fight again and was forced to quit. Not only the danger of having her brain lose the ability to receive vision from her eyes from one final blow to the skull, but that her old frame of mind and old personality are all gone. She can't make the right decisions or be highly logical of things, making her a danger to others she may fight. It is like she -- her old kind self seen briefly from Ida's flashback --- has died.

You could be onto something. That career-ending injury to the head must be that deep enough that it seriously damaged her brain, which may play a part in how she is currently thinking and behaving, good grief.

Actually Nyarai smashed Muko's head against the floor at that one match; Muko being the pervert ditzy lesbian combal rabbit and Cookie being the squirrel manager to both Muko and Kalita. (though earlier at one point the only violence we did see Nyarai do to Cookie was pin her and kick her down against the floor of her little "office".) But otherwise those are good points.

Because Cookie learned after her (so much when Muko was hungry she actually got worried with her, thinking it was a trauma due to her head being bashed), while Freydar helped Shun destroy Muko's career, let Nyarai basically injury both Muko and Adelgund severely, and allowed Shun to manipulate Peki and almost injury her too (so much she only didn't got seriously injured because Adelgund stepped back);

So yeah, her 'I WON'T LET COOKIE CAUSE MORE HARM' plan is the one causing all the harm.
