Well, It's an old decca made by taisco. Its defiantly possible you ran into a twin of this guitar at some point :)

Oho kool. some of these old jalopies sound really great. old silvertones are cool guitars too. I love bringing them back to life. There is a pic im my gallery of a particularly old one I put back together you might dig. I hope the neck on yours isn't experiencing the same problems that this one had. It was an unplayable guitar. If you put down a strait edge on the fret board you could slide a small screwdriver shaft under it, the neck was so warped.

Nah, Straight as an arrow. Plays like a dream. All around great guitar.
