As a long-time vintage audiophile, I love this on so many ways~ ^_^

No thank you, they may be degraded to where my machine will eat them, it's a little rough on tapes.

it only uses one belt, and that is for the tape counter, it just needs some adjustments, the rewind is very very quick.

yep. it just is violent on rewind/fast forward, it also does auto reverse.

Akai reel to reel machines are a particular favourite of mine . Ive been collecting them and I’ve got around 50 of them now . It’s an addiction !

Okay, then you might be able to answer this question. What size allen key does the pause control knob on a 220D take

Hi I don’t use an Allen key on them , I use a T6 torx driver . I’ve got a bluepoint precision driver set (part no itc9606-2bp) this does all of my machines . The pause knob is the same as an m10, 1721 and some of the other gx series
