I know part of a good health plan is actually be aware of the body you have before starting do anything... so you can look at yourself and look for the advancess and improvemente.... but this.... maybe is it just an unortodox aproch... lets see how it actually come out in the end...
This is a pretty adorable story so far, and I'm loving it. All the great messages of being comfortable in your own body aside, I do hope that Basil ends up going to the gym even after all this. He can stay fat and not go every day, or he can just work on other stuff instead of traditional weight loss exercises, but it is so hard to start actually going to the gym when you are this self conscious. I speak from experience. But, once you start going fairly regularly it gets a lot easier and you begin to care less about what imaginary things others are saying.
From personal experience; I am a fairly overweight guy, but I usually try to go to the gym a few times a week to just make sure my body can do what I want it to do. When you get in to your mid twenties, you begin to realize that you can't just sit on your ass all day and immediately do physical stuff, including sex, anymore lol.

Even as someone who likes chubby/fat bodies etc. It's incredibly important to stay healthy. Eating better and making yourself better through exercise is of such importance. I think being healthy and still appreciating different body types aren't mutually exclusive and it's important to love yourself before you can begin to lose weight and create good habits.

please don't wear your favourite thriller jacket during The Nookie®, piglet
actually.. ..how often do you wash this signature attire of yours anyway?
"I-I don't know."
of course you know.
(p.s. — to my knowledge, sweating your weight off is fine.. ..if most of your excess happens to be in tangible, excretable fluid form
that said: for the rest of us who could stand to lose a few pounds — all inducing sweating's gonna do is dehydrate us faster.. ..which, as it happens, is a state-of-being ´not at all conducive towards the original aim of shedding the pudge
i know i am not wont to exert myself further when i am sweating and thirsty)
that said: i get it.
but ... it appears to me with abe, you can let loose.
if not, anyway, by a little?
