I gotta stop doing this...
About a year ago I joined up here in FurAffinity and... well, I hadn't felt the same kind of artistic intensity to get up and draw as much as I did then until recently.
More specifically, when I initially joined FA I remember checking out random galleries just for sudden impacts of inspiration. It didn't happen alot. In fact most times I was kind of bummed out not to but when I finally found something, it stuck. Ironically, one of these hits of inspiration happened to be an already established muse, one of many I imagine, here in FurAffinity by the name of
lei-lani
Come as it may, I thought about what it felt like that long ago and it riled strong emotions reminding me why I love doing what I love to do and how it got me out of my month's work of neglecting artwork.
Adding to the fact that I've wanted to do this piece for a while, it might be as a sort of prelude or interlude to a previous piece, Mutual Understanding http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2310289/
lei-lani said she'd write a short story up about events colliding between her character and mine, Juju, but I never held her to it and I still don't. To be honest, I kind of worked out a story of my own in my head but ya know, never had the balls, or God forbid, the urgency to knock it out. So for all purposes indictated, it's all locked away in my head with a few instances such as these illustrating what it is the story might've played out as.
Also, this is cropped out to all hell, this piece is actually MUCH much larger than shown here...

"Ha! Sounds sort of like Mahalo!"

"Oe. Tikaloa boa'ao." (Yeah. Maybe he's half.)
"Boayowa?" (And the cat ears?)
"Oe'ee..." (Oh yeah...)
"Maka'ae hu'solua!" (Let's have the girls check for us!)
"WAHAHAHA!"
"Ho'o komo laua..." (Follow my lead...)
"Hey brudha you doin' anything later?"
=Juju= "Not really, why?"
"Good! You havin' a drink with us! Get you introduced to all the ladies, eh!"
=Juju= "Seriously?"
"Kahlua soma'kae Yowa!"
=Juju= "What's that mean?"
"Kahlua all up in your ass, cat ears!"
