Dewclaw is a term for the vestigial digit as a whole too.. not just the claw. So it's kind of misleading n.n If you look at pictures of mewtwo, the "knob" is right where this would be in a skeletal sense.
I only push this because I think it might look pretty cool to hone it down in more realistic art styles
