Here's a better armored smilodon pic. I started this at work (Fridays are pretty slow). and got most of the sketching done there. This is part of the 'Empire of the clans' mythos I've been mulling over since writing 'Blackfur's legacy'. (Blackfur being a sabretooth and the founder of said empire). Anyway, it's a smilodon in rhino hide armor with bronze strip reenforcement -- at this point in the Empire's history the techniques of armor making did not allow full suits of metal armor, and rhino hide is plenty tough all by itself.

This armor is very similar to the one I drew on Monstertown officers, including the nonanthro ones. The main change was making the leather very thick so it could be rhino hide. I am not very happy with the eyes, the drool is not the best I have done, and I am pretty sure the other hind leg should show, but other than that I am happy with it. 83
Not stretchy enough, I am afraid. In order to make a practical suit of armor, certain...recreational activities had to be sacrificed. There might be a gap in the armor that would still allow him/her to have sex whilst in armor, but soft vore is out of the question unless the cat starts taking stuff off. Incidentally, since he/she does not have hands, human servants or another of the People who does have hands (a twolegs or sixlegs) would probably need to help the cat take the armor off. And put it back on, etc.
