Panel 2 always felt weird to me. Like, Kate’s definitely fat now, but she doesn’t seem fat enough to start brushing against standard door frames. After her fridge binge, sure, but not at Panel 2.

Maybe Kate just had really thin doors before this incident?

It's not really obvious but that's the door to her closet. It's a narrow sliding door instead of a normal full size one.
