Yep, you're right. In the Netherlands, some shopping streets were completely full of people who wanted to do Christmas shopping quickly before everything closed down.

Same here in German. And the actions that lead to this point, like protests against masks and measures, throwing big parties and keeping schools open no matter the cost.. so parents can keep working.
It's frustrating how many selfish people there are
