Heron TF is such a rarity among bird tfs, and you've handled this beautifully! I love your beak transition here, especially in the first frame how she's experimentally feeling it with her tongue- with how big even the tiniest changes in your mouth feel (ever chipped a tooth?) I can only begin to imagine what a beak starting to form would be like! Long term too, just wonderful work all around! :D

Yeah often think about the day to day stuff in TF, especially over long term. Your mouth is such a personal space where the slightest change is massive, so to have it harden narrow and become simpler in geometry would be a constant mind blowing experience. Would love to go in depth one day on this concept.
