After a long wander they wound up finding a place that had Hot Cocoa. Not a "Coffee Shop" per se, more of a candy shop that serves sweet drinks- which made perfect sense to Eron.

After picking up his Cocoa the two stopped out and the Raccoon held them up for a minute so he can get a good sip. Eron is a bit of a gourmand and getting a proper taste takes a lot of energy and coordination. Roth, taken in by the purple hue of twilight and the amber glow of street lamps- gave in to a sudden feeling.

He kissed his Raccoon on the head

And the Raccoon was simply not ready for it.
