My new fursona in all his beefy glory! This fella is, design and personality wise, as close to me IRL as I could manage in an art piece, with the notable additions of the scar over my eye and the fact that I'm not a perfectly sculpted Big McLargeHuge like Lucas is!
Lucas is a massively muscled goofball living in an urban fantasy setting, a world that's recovered from a magic-induced apocalyptic event where the majority of the world's population died off from the effects magic had on the world.
At one point, the people of the planet lived in a world of modern technologies and concrete cities, a land without magic. However, at some point, a massive shockwave of magic energy exploded out of the planet, washing itself over the world and gradually soaking its influence into anything and everything it touched. The vast majority of electronic technology was immediately fried by the appearance of magic, and as such society gradually collapsed, and thus began an apocalyptic event never before imagined. Over untold millennia, the survivors of the planet had devolved into what was basically a tribal state, yet had managed to adapt to the dangerous magics that had once ruined civilization years ago, and even learned how to wield it themselves. Over time, however, these survivors lost a significant amount of their scientific research, historical data, and records of civilization even existing. To the modern man in Lucas's world, the past is shrouded in mystery, with nothing but theories as to what life was like before modern civilization. Nobody is even aware that there once was a society long before theirs that lived without magic, as the cities, technologies, vehicles, even the roads of the world were mutated by magic. Where cities once stood, now stand expansive ruined forests of magical stone. What was once a desk fan has now been molded into a wind artifact, capable of generating powerful gusts of wind when wielded. Televisions had mutated into multi-limbed floating monstrosities that generate confusing sounds that cannot be replicated with current levels of technology.
Over the course of two thousand years mankind managed to bring themselves up from what was essentially a tribe-like state, into a modern era of advanced technologies and expanded magic capabilities. Mankind evolved not against magic, but alongside it, and much of modern tech is intertwined with magic itself, ranging from conventional methods of transportation, to the magic-induced electrical lines that power the cities of the world, to the very touch screen communication device sitting in your pocket. Lucas is a college-educated magitechnician, his world's equivalent of an IT technician. Many of his duties are the same as what would be expected from the IT department, except the printer is literally powered by black magic.
When Lucas isn't working at his day job, he's often spending time working on his skills as a solo composer, creating music electronically on his computer at home, and practicing his vocals informally via online lessons. The dude is also a fan of video games, any kind of music with a good, funky beat, and enjoys nights of tabletop role playing adventures with his mates. It is quite silly that he does that on a weekly basis when he can also go out into the world at large and go on adventures of his own, exploring old-world ruins and hunting down ancient relics to continue bulking his body up.
One of Lucas's favorite things in the world is power. Many of the people of the world are muscular, wielding various levels of super strength as an adaptation to the harsh, magically mutated world. Lucas knows there are ways for him to become even larger, more muscular, and to increase his power ever more, and he's seeking any way possible to increase his size and power!
