Here we have my first directly Christmas related commission for this holiday season, drawn this time by my friend  XypherFox. It's my duck OC Paige exchanging gifts with my skunk OC Parker as a means of putting aside their differences and making amends between each other. For context, Paige, back when she was skinny, used to hold a strong bias against skunks, even barring them from her clothing store Fash. Parker greatly resented Paige for her myopic specism, despite neither of them really knowing each other. These days, since Paige fattened up and became a BBW, she's seriously mellowed out, dropping her skunk bias and allowing them to shop at Fash. This spurred Parker to give her another chance, which led to the pair finding they actually shared a lot in common, and have since become genuine friends. ^_^
I've been enjoying this guy's doodle work for a long time, and his more detailed, colored work is even better. He did a great job capturing the details of both of my characters here, and I love the winter touches he added to their clothing, specifically the snowflake spots on Parker's hoodie, and the candy cane stripes on Paige's sweater neck and sleeve cuffs. Not to mention the juxtaposition with Paige being short and fat while Parker is tall and lean. People do say opposites attract. ;)
