He's an Impostor and a Pureblood. That means, that he can't live without to eat a Crewmate or at least suck his Blood. He's not the kind one and really enjoys to kill. Yellow is the only one which interests him because there is something about him that he must first learn to understand.

Later in the story he takes pills against his blood lust and his sex drive so as not to endanger the others and especially Yellow.
