Sure Ashio could chose to stay in his usual wolf form and run the risk of being arrested.
But instead he chose to take a different approach. During the day he worked on a new device that could
Cover his body in a robotic like body that covered his fur, leaving only his hair out so people couldn't notice him fully. Labeling it
Model S010, Putting the helmet on while he is a wolf give's him that robotic body to disguise himself from those
trying to find him out. The robot form helps him regulate the light and darkness that flows through him and that energy comes out
through his paws depending on what music is playing in his headset through the helmet.

Without the helmet the other parts wont form, With the helmet on, he can chose to live his alternative lifestyle during the night
which is tearing up the forces of evil with the flow of music. And of course being that DJ people know about.
