Once it's penetrated the skin, the bullet expands, fragments, ricochets. It tears your body from the outside in as well as from the inside out. Adrenaline will kick in and keep you going without you feeling any pain, but it's not the initial wound that should worry you. It's the sea of red you make below and inside you.
