Vurga is a sci fi pirate. His favorite thing is being dominant, rather affectionately or maliciously. He loves to throw his weight around and eat people up, whole and alive.

Of course he has a shrink ray.

Mercer was once a little larger than Vurga. What did he do to deserve his fate? Maybe Vurga was feeling extra playful with his latest catch. But the shrink ray is often pulled when the situation calls for it. In all likelihood, Vurga told the fellow bunny that they were lunch and poor Mercer said the wrong thing. 'But I'm way too big for you to eat'.

"Well, if you're sure!"

ZAP! Well, there goes that argument. Now Vurga's all too happy to dangle the tiny treat over his gullet and let him get a good, long look at his new home. Vurga loves to show off and tease his meals. Now it's even easier. Mercer isn't going anywhere. Not till the show ends. And every second of Vurga teasing him is another second he gets outside of Vurga's digestive system.
