Some concept art for a story I want to make. At the moment, the story is about Jeremy and Curtis who have been best friends since they were kids. They grew up together, sharing many life experiences - however their experiences are about to diverge as Curtis is forced into the ancient Guardian's role of protecting a mythical underground as a werebear.
Originally this art had Jeremy say something snarky about walking into a witches den but I cut it because artist.

Isn't this whole point of a friendship the fact that you can be honest with someone; what's more honest that coming out of the closet...I mean admitting that you can turn into a half ton mound of fur and flesh? And more over, who better to have at your back than a friend, someone who, by the contract made between them, is supposed to have your back no matter what?
Jeremy: It wasn't so bad, though not as good as the time I saw you naked.
Curtis: When did you see me naked?
Jeremy: When we were in highschool together, and I was doing laundry for the football team.
Curtis: I don't remember that.
Jeremy: I do. I also remember how big you were down there. Gotta say, your second puberty really gave you more girth where it counts, Big Bear.
Curtis: Oh please don't call me that, and wait a minute...!!
