In the Xyian universe, there are beings beyond God-status, categorized as "Multi-Dimensional Beings" (or MDB for short). One of the peculiarities of MDBs is that they can exist between many folds of the multiverse, or consequently, also exist in-between dimensional folds and outside of universal influence.
This particular being is the latter, living in a little corner outside of the observable multiverse; JqXz keeps to themselves, oftentimes peeking their head into the world to see how it is holding up, and even following mortal creatures minding their business (perhaps either to observe for entertainment purposes or maybe to lend a hand, or entrust something to them to give them purpose).
Their primary purpose in existence is to recycle dead universes and condense them into something useful; whether or not the created item ever comes into play is out of their hands, up to entropy.
