This is a 5 parter Jack fan comic that was kinda the prelude to the other one I did ("Wherever You Are, I Feel Love"). It's set to Art Garfunkel's song, "Bright Eyes".
Aaaand THIS is the page I ended up reworking.. In the newer comic, Vinci does not recognize Arty, who keeps trying to get him to remember him. In this older version, seeing Arty jogs his memory. I like this page, but I ended up realizing that, given how Dave's handling things, it prooooobably wouldn't work that way, and so this part's effectively scrapped. I changed things around in the other comic I did. Vinci still doesn't recall Arty, and of course, he's still in Hell.
Still, this woulda been nice, huh? :)

Mind elaborating a bit, or is it too personal? And what is "Jack"?
The whole mini-comic was very nicely done. Gonna have to download that song now:)

"Jack" is an excellent, but gruesome webcomic that a pal of mine does, it's at https://www.pholph.com , and this was a fancomic for him :)
Beautiful.
That's all there is to say about this really.
I like both versions of this piece, they are both very deeply touching (though I'd say the sad ending is the one that touches the deeper.)
I would love to try to colour one of the two versions (or even both) but at this stage, I couldn't do them justice, there are too many eliments here that I wouldn't know how to work with. Maybe someday I'll come back and make the request. :)
