They don't know how close they came to becoming butchered, bloody, bunny bits. Unknowingly, i drove the lawn tractor right over their burrow. I felt so bad, I rebuilt it for them with an upturned wheelbarrow (but not before i took this picture) and i did not touch them.
I try not to interfere with the wildlife around here. It seems this yard has become section-8 housing for every displaced wild thing in the neighborhood. There's owls, bats, bunnies, deer, a family of foxes at the far end where the creek runs through, and at least one opossum.
Mabyee i'll start a petting zoo and charge admission. Mabyee not.

i dads garden had a nest with 7 of them in it. when they got big enogh to jump and fend for them selves, i grabbed them all, put them in a buket, and dumped them out in a forest preserve so they can jump and frallic with out worry for being eating by dogs and have slippers thrown at them by my dad
Wow! Funny you should say that. The other day I met an adorable rabbit who lived in a hat when a strange red mongoose sold me encyclopedias.
They gladly accepted my 'Cutey Bunny' comix as payment, and left a quarter glued to my foxy neighbor's front walk just before they rode off on a giant platypus.
Wait,...wat were we talking about? I'm outa beer and it's clouded my mind.
