Now this is the kind of artwork that makes me feel like I'm worthwhile as an artist. Not that trash that I'm often asked to do from other artists. This is the kind of work I want to get reputed for and stuff. Stuff's that's actually tasteful and meaningful.
Anywho, this is Jarrick Lorekeeper from the Windrise Ports in the lands of Faerun. He's a Dragonborn Runepriest, a special type of Melee-based Cleric where the source of all his magic is through Runelore. Carving words and runes will invoke spells from the gods themselves and smite enemies. To learn all these spells, of course, he has to read. And Jarrick is a huge bookworm, loving books to the point of saving them in the middle of fights. He's also the party's self-proclaimed Chronicler, so he takes it upon himself to archive their adventures throughout his journey.
He journeyed to Waterdeep to solve the mystery behind the missing apprentice of Halishtir, but now he's on a sacred quest to stop the summoning of Tiamat, the enemy of his god.
C&C well appreciated!
And yes, "It's HAMMER TIME!" is a quote he often uses in the fray of fighting. He has a special power that allows him to do extra damage when he gets hit.

Tiamat is the twisted counterpart to Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon. She's all for destruction and chaos, and she often lures many humanoids including Draconic folk into her cause. Right now, Jarrick has heard news that the cult that worships intends to use a relic to conjure up an aspect of Tiamat, which is not good. Tiamat is one of the more threatening deities of the DnD universe.
Mhm! Yep, that's right. Of course, there are other deities asides from those two. They're some of the more significant ones. There's also Ioun, the god of psionics, Correllon, the goddess of Magic, and Kord, the Warrior God(Essentially Odin and Valhalla or as I like to say, Crom.)
