I imagine that Haida being drunk would probably be the only time he'd be likely to ask or that they'd be an opportunity like this. There would probably be some guilt involved because he was drunk whether it's what he'd really have wanted but perhaps compromise by just tickling his feet for a while to hopefully hear some hyena cackles.
