yep! fun stuff. i did horse hair with this one since i thought it would be too fragile to roll around in sawdust

i should have known that was horse hair...i don't know what else it could have been, and i agree about it being to fragile.

i definitely want to do a raku firing when i take a ceramics class again, i've only seen the raku kiln :C

This is amazing. AMAZING. The sculpt itself is beautiful, and the details of the suckers and the twisted tentacle ends add to it even more. Plus the colour looks more than great as well. I honestly couldn't tell you a thing about raku clay, but I think this is one of my favorite octopus sculpts I've seen to date.
