Aleu and Nuk, leaders of the wolf clan
Nuk couldn't tell exactly when his feelings for Aleu turned into love; he only knew that the strong feelings of respect and admiration he had for the new leader of the wolf clan kept growing stronger and stronger until one day they merged into an even more powerful force, one that make him feel like able to move entire mountains if that was his love's wish.
Nuk was aware that, as the leader of the wolf clan, Aleu was going to marry only the strongest in her clan and he was determined to claim that position for himself.
Truth be told, the wolf was already the biggest in the clan but, after taking his decision of prove himself worthy of Aleu, he decided to not let anything stand in his way.
From then on no challenge was refused by the wolf, no fight or hunt deemed by him too dangerous.
The constant challenge of proving himself strengthened his body much more beyond his wildest hopes and pretty soon he conquered a place of respect among his fellow wolves, both feared and admired for his great strength and size as well as his hunting and warrior skills. Many scars from many battles kept appearing on the wolf's fur, marks of his bravery.
Aleu was the only one in the clan that Nuk treated with respect, standing by her side and treating her with the finest meat of the clan's hunts that Nuk made sure were of Aleu's property.
And eventually came the day when Nuk proposed to Aleu; it took all the strenght and self confidence he had built to propese to Aleu and in that moment his heart trembled at the idea of a denial...
But Nuk's effort had been far from unnoticed and the wolf's joy was immense when he knew that Aleu had already chosen him.
From then on Aleu's wisdom and leadership were even more strenghted thanks to her mate's size and might.
Although the movie "Balto 2 : Wolf's quest" was not particular special I liked it and Nuk was my favorite wolf in the wolf's clan. Maybe because he was a sort of big belly glutton wolf even in a feral form.
Anyway I had this idea for a sort of love story between him and Aleu where love pushed him into becoming the strongest memeber of the wolf clan for win Aleu's heart and I so wanted to draw this moment of tenderness between the two of them (looks like Nuk is also making sure that Aleu eats plenty then again with a husband like that it would be bad for Aleu to have alittle more curves right?)
The story is not particularly great but I wanted to write down something for goign along with the pic; hope you'll enjoy it the same
