I think it’s important to be true to yourself and hold your head up high.

That being said, during these times (especially in the US), I only urge people to exercise care and calculated risks. Being true to yourself and showing it to the world can backlash and do you more injury than good. be proud of who you are, but be smart about it and avoid confrontations that would not be helpful, but be prepared to defend others and have compassion for the other.
