I was watching footage taken of the collapse by a drone - staff there at Arecibo had been aware of cable failure for some time and were monitoring it. Drone was right at the point of the final snap and got great footage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3AASKr_iHc Shame to see it go but It looks like they were going to demolish it soon due to on going issues.
The last office building I worked in had a prohibition against microwave popcorn. At least once a month, one idiot or another would leave a bag in for too long -- even though all the machines had popcorn presets. An idiot always knows better, right? Maximum cycle for ten minutes should do it.

Popcorn and bagels in toasters used to set of the fire alarm system at one mall I worked security at. One jewelry store was usually the culprit. We'd get a call from them begging that we cancel the fire dept. Had to let them come in , check and then issue citation to the idiots. Never could get the old farts who hung around the mall all day to evacuate... too stubborn
Renewable when they refreshen the dish... though now the only problem is what brand to go with?
LG, Sanyo, Toshiba, Bosch, Siemens, KitchenAid, or General Electric?
Though I have my suspicions that the old dish was G.E. so renewing it with more G.E. might not be the smartest move... and would probably go to explain why everything went FUBAR in the first place...
