thank you so much for your comments!! that comparison to steinvord is blowing me away thats so nice. i have a lot more music, mostly on soundcloud and youtube (not sure if i should post a link since i don't know how spam detection works here) under the name hoverman. i could also just post more here, seems like a nice enough community.
You've come a long way with your music since a couple years ago!
Regarding posting songs here: when you attach your work to a niche or subculture it elevates the attention floor that your work can receive, so definitely pick a subculture that you like if you want your music to be heard. When I found out this furry site had a music section I adopted the notion of being a dragon that made DnB/breakcore and posting music here in 2009 was an adventure. Cartoon animal people sharing feedback on my music really delighted me and I enjoyed giving feedback on other people's music in return. The fantasy circumstance inscribes a meaning to abstract/electronic music that it won't have on other platforms.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do, and users here will leave more enthusiastic feedback if you adopt "furry" traits like a character avatar, etc. Obviously don't go furry if you don't want to, and certainly don't set up camp here just cause I'm here (you imitate a lot of things that I have dabbled in). But if the culture here is as enchanting as I remember a decade ago, sharing music on FA could be worth a try.

this makes sense, and i've tried to brute force a subculture via "synths n drums" music as i called it, but since this was on soundcloud it didn't get far. even now with 300+ followers i barely get any attention on new things i post (most of my plays funnel into one of my old tracks that got algorithmically recommended to a lot of your listeners). i've been trying out newgrounds a bit with slight success, with one of my music posts getting frontpaged a few weeks ago.
as for this website, i'm at least familiar with the types of people who browse here given most of my internet friends are furries to some degree. i used to have a joke lizard sona i drew once but i'm a bit shite at drawing, maybe i could come up with something. already though i'm getting like 50 plays on these tracks and i've barely even set up an account, so it seems promising.
thanks for the advice man, you seem to be conducting a sort of renaissance recently so i hope that all goes well. means a lot to me to get these comments from you.
