It reminds me of a Smith & Wesson .38 http://guns4u.info/wp-content/uploa.....2810_large.jpg but my eyes are a bit bad and I can't make out the logo so I'm not sure. I have one, black finish and all, but with an enclosed hammer. It's very similar.

I love using my hands (not having anyone else's to borrow), not just as a ref for a particular image but as a practice subject. It seems like drawing anything from life tends to be good practice in general.

I like this because it shows how expressive hands can be and the lighting/your hands are creepyawesome.

That's good - they can sometime be hard to get ahold of. I'm lucky enough to live in a town with a lone Fluffy-Pagan shop who has these, along witht he only tea-tree oil to be found. Such a good cleaner shouldn't be so hard to find >:(

I think the most epic breaking of one of mine was in, like, eighth grade? I remember yelling at a kid that he was being a homophobic douche and to leave my friend alone or I'd blah-blah-blah nd slammed my hand down for emphasis and it just shattered and shot everywhere. I'm so proud that I acted like it was totally what I meant to do ¬_¬
