gotta agree with ya there, though I do love the new one's. I mean you simply cannot improve on the original's looks, so they did the next best thing, made it bigger

The originals are cramped.. I'm 5' 11" and it was tight for me.

Might fit, but you wouldn't have A/C, Radio, comfy seats, or any form of sound deadening.

True, but when you can get a car that looks identical to the classic, costs less, and performs better. (The street legal GT has nearly a full second better 0-60 than the race only GT-40, not to mention the full 2 seconds it has on the street legal GT-40, and that's not even counting the 40 years of techonology improving on the suspension.) Not to mention the fact that it's infinitely more comfortable and livable, and reliable as well.

Other than blind nostalgia, there really isn't a reason for favoring the GT-40 over the GT, you know? The only thing the GT-40 has on the GT is the fact it's 40 years old.

I only want one because the original, though almost impossible to find these days, is because... well, it's the original. It won Le Mans, it's just more appealing to me. And yes, because it's that old. It's legendary. :P

GT's were never produced in the 90's. Mustang GT's were, but this is a modern version of the 60's GT40 that won LeMans.
