finally finished commission for
tobi3b
it is of two of his characters cuddle on couch. i did want to use diffrent angle than i normal see. most time i seeing this type thing, is from front. what i am most surprise about is how i manage to make both character nude and still gneral audience rated.
as i have said in the wip sketches posted, i thank
kacey for help me figure out the tangle of paws.

An excellent job on a difficult request, Ayukwataur. The one thing that I feel could have been better is that the walls are rather bare. It's almost as if they had either just moved in or are spending their last afternoon in the house/apartment, but then there would probably be boxes laying around.
Aw, that's really very sweet. I love how the way they're cuddled up to each other is so intimate, without it being in the least bit sexual. Their emotions have a lot to do with that, I think. You did a really wonderful job of capturing a feeling of peace and contentment in both their body language, and the expressions on their faces. The white kitty(?) girl is absolutely gorgeous, too. You did a good job on both the figures, but I think it's obvious you really have a talent for females.
The background shouldn't be ignored, either. I seem to remember your saying, once, that you weren't terribly comfortable with drawing complicated backgrounds. But what you've got here looks really nice. I'm particularly fond of the view out the window, and the nice little hint of delicacy it adds to the whole scene.

i am told all my life when i was draw in past, 'draw what you like'. i like females.

i am not sure i am yet. but, i try to face those things in life that scare me. i do not like have other thing in life control me. or, only those thing i give power to get that right. and i do not wish a background to be the think that has that authority. it does not mean i am still not worry about, but is very nice to know i am doing much better.
the view out window was original not as nice. if look at sketch wip, can see it was very flat in sketch. it was how i did original colour. but kacey did say, 'needs more leaves or it look like branches press between two pane of glass.' i did not understand at first, but i did play with for while, and it seem to work.

One of the interesting things about furry art, is that fur hides most anatomy, and so hides most of what people may fuss about.
I really like this one! I still remember the first picture you did, and there's already a dramatic improvement... Maybe you're becoming more confident in your abilities? Whatever is different though, it's showing. You did great! ^_^

i have very creative mind. and with visual medium, my mind will fill in what is missing if it know should be there. too many years of mot wearing my glasses or contacts.
thank you, i think i am get more confident. i am try to do more complex work. more detail. more thought in what doing. i work a weird process, where i create the idea first, then transfer it over to the paper. it gives me a chance to refine a lot of the image before it ever does make it to the final media.
colour i am get better with. i am still some timid with contrast. i am not sure if i see colours, value and hue same as rest of world. but i am still working on being more bold with colour.

Well, I love your use of color for the couch... It's subtle, but the way you shaded it makes it look more real. Better then I could do ;)
Out of curiosity, I would guess English isn't your native language? I remember seeing you and Kacey at FWA in... 2008, I did note you had an accent, but couldn't place it. Feel free to shoo me away for being too nosy ;)

I didn't mean it like that, I just generally enjoy giving feedback to people, so it was a bit more directed towards myself. I didn't have to give any feedback, no, but it just feels sort of nice to give feedback to friends and others because you know they appreciate it. It is a bit hard to explain, but I'm sure you understand what I mean.
I also felt kind of bad for not taking my full time to look at your art and stuff, mostly because I didn't have anything to say. I know that's sounds kind of stupid, but that's me. It just sort of feels like something I should be doing; taking my time with people, listening and looking.

thank you very much.
i am very happy you like the pose. i really did try to bring you some thing that was diffrent than the normal. a more natural angle. it is common for kacey to lay her legs over mine when we are relax, which is where idea for doing that come from. not same way, but still spirit there.
i do hope i continue to improve. and, i am all ways happy to do more.
