Show of paws, who here remembers my li'l cutie mage, Tenet? Uh huh, uh huh. Well, he is now this fellow here, an adolescent gypsy lad named Milos (props to anyone who remembers the name Milos). He originally had orange fur, but I decided to make it more a golden color, and his mane a bit rosier. If you'll also notice, the tear marks distinctive of cheetahs (final name, Xak, his ancestor). He is 1 of a 3-member party, along with Jerrid and Simon (Simon comes later).
Story goes as such:
Milos's family, the Dale Clan of gypsies, is travelling through Jerrid's kingdom, when they come across a debtor. This particular member of the royal court fancies Milos's dancing style (which doubles as a fighting technique, with tamborines as weapons), so the family give their son as a means of payment, all knowing that Milos can slip out of the castle and escape back to his loving Clan lickety-split. Unfortunately, that charming collar 'round his neck disallows easy exit plans, so Milos is kept inside stone walls for a few months.
The young Dale doesn't worry, though, for he is a patient lad, and hides out in the abandoned observatory of a wizard, long since left. There, he hones his soothsaying and seer abilities, along with learning a few healing techniques (just in case). However, not long does a revolution (of a most uncalled for reason) spurred by magically convinced peasent siege the castle, and gives Milos a chance to escape. This crosses his path with escaping Prince Jerrid, whom commonly slips out of the castle to explore the wild under the guise of a ranger.
And that's where we'll end the story, for now.
