Very good demo. Getting a bit frustrated hunting for the gem tied to the first associated image in the gallery, but the journey is enjoyable.
Some general gameplay feedback:
-Took me longer than it should have to realize that the flying bugs were used to chain jumps. When they first appear, Red's dialogue seems to imply they're hostile, so I spent a while trying to attack them and wondering why nothing was happening. Same with the webs - spent a while attacking before I tried the dodge to get past. In both cases, I figured it out, but a bit of guidance might help when introducing a mechanic for the first time.
-Parry: same as above. Triggered it accidentally a time or two, but with the dodge and quickstep being options, I never deliberately attempted it because I forgot it was an option. If it's ever going to become an essential tool against bosses or specific enemies, it might help to have a better way to introduce it.
-At one point, they flying companion (Gerbera?) disappeared (I think I hit the "d" or "f" key to trigger it - wasn't in the guide and I couldn't consistently trigger it) and sparks would start periodically appearing around Arma that dealt damage to enemies. I never want to complain about extra damage, but it sometimes triggered enemy i-frames, and could result in me taking a hit if the enemy recovered while I was stuck in an attack animation.
-Not sure if it was intentional, but being able to take a finesse route through some areas to skip a combat slog was a nice touch. The combat isn't especially difficult and the penalty for dying is minimal, but the option was appreciated and something you don't see offered very often.
-If the ability to toggle between short animation loops in the gallery is going to be implemented for all enemies, the ability to also display the full loop would be appreciated.
Bugs:
-Gallery images slide further and further to the left as you scroll through them.
Thanks for you work!
