1 pkg of Adobo mix (brand may vary)
1 potato
1/2 onion
2 cloves of garlic
chicken, pork, or beef (prepared or not, best to use boneless)
1 cup water
Optional items
Bay Leaves
Whole peppercorn
Bell pepper
Carrot
1. Dissolve Adobo mix in 1 cup water and marinate meat for 15 min (prepared or not)
2. Peel potato and cut into cubes (doesn't matter what size)
3. Cut onion into 1/2 ring-shape (diced is fine too!)
4. Crush, chop or mince garlic.
5. If you have veggies, begin slicing these up too. Bell peppers into half-cut slices, carrots into tuna can shapes (I know I'm not a very good visualizer), etc.
6. After 15 min, begin cooking up meat in a frying pan (unless you already have it prepared). DO NOT TOSS LIQUID!!! IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO USE!!!
7. Place liquid in pot (any is fine as long as liquid fits) and cook at a MED heat. However, for the Bay Leaves, place about 7-10 leaves in mix.
8. Place all items in pot and simmer at a LOW heat.
9. Adobo is red when all veggies are tender.
Usually feeds 4 people with rice.
