Clementine’s family was descended from some of the first people to work on settling the area of Leazon. Due to this involvement, they went on to be rather influential, with Clementine’s mother managing to become the current Governor-General of Leazon.

Clementine, though just six-years-old, hated being so short and unable to reach things older people could, and felt that if she were taller, people would take her seriously. She was also known to be rather spoiled, as her parents were prone to buying her what she wanted. It’s through the use of her wealth and the ‘amazing toys’ she gets that she would convince other kids to hang out with her due to a desire for friends. However, she also realizes that the only reason others want to hang around with her is because of her wealth.

When Henrietta ended up in her class, Clementine would quickly learn about the Pokemorph stuff that was happening and developed a curiosity in Henrietta and the fact that she wasn’t easily swayed by her wealth and ‘awesome stuff’.

It wouldn’t be long before Clementine managed to run into a Team Union Grunt who was attempting to be stealthy but failed. Upon discovering who the Grunt was, she demanded to be turned into something that could be considered tall. The Grunt, though surprised that someone was demanding to be changed, quickly complied.

As an Ekans Morph, Clementine would enjoy the fact that she could finally be seen as taller than she previously was. The lack of legs was a small price to pay. Plus, she could curl up and comfortably rest within her own coils. She would also go on to become actual friends with Henrietta, who she learned used to be an adult before the change, and could understand the ‘height troubles’ that the Smoochum was going through. Not only that, but it was nice to have an actual friend who wasn’t just trying to be with her just because of her wealth.
