This one was another rather quick piece. It was a fun attempt at making a monochrome picture with a focus on contrast.

Thank you. I've had a few of my own turn out rather dull looking, as well.
The trick I used this time around was to make the background darker, not to make the magic circle brighter.
Contrast has more of an effect than brightness, as far as making glowing effects goes.

Ahhh, so this is what people mean when they talk about oekaki drawings... You've just cleared up one of the burning questions I've had about this place for a long time. XO3 Thanks!
I also use Photoshop but only for coloring. And not nearly at this level. Hopefully that will change when I get a tablet and more practice
