Sure!
The two heads bicker with each other all the time, they pretty much have opposite personalities/tastes.
Nocturne (the head on the right)'s neck, due to not belonging to the original body, has a bunch of scars but it's well-hidden underneath their fur.
They both share control over the body, which can lead to them behaving a bit oddly when they both decide to go in different directions or do something different.

Here, just uploaded art of them, ask stuff there if you want :)

Okay, this'll take a bit of explaining since I haven't had the time to draw and post every relevant character/location yet. Buckle up, because this is gonna take a WHILE.
Yes, they were two stray Umbreon kidnapped and used for the experiment.
The Lab that performed this procedure was managed by a few characters: Professor Manchineel (not drawn yet), Solstice (not drawn yet), Solaris (not drawn yet), Kurumi, Ami, and Eve (not drawn yet). Solstice is the one you're going to want to keep in mind, as she is DIRECTLY responsible for 90% of the suffering in this setting. These two and Frosty were, for the most part, relatively ethically made. It's just that Frosty's experiment, seeing if they could change a pokemon's evolution (in this case into a Vaporeon) went wrong and now she's stuck with the made-of-water traits.
After the experiment, these two (three if you count both heads) lived relatively decent lives within the Lab with the other Subjects (products of the Lab's experiments) until the Exodus (I'll get to that in a bit). It is important to note that they also had a few actual anomalies, the most notable at the time being the former Subject #001: "Distortion's Harbinger" (havent drawn them).
Solstice, deciding she was sick and tired of the others researchers, either killed the other researchers (Manchineel, Eve), or turned them into Subjects (Ami, Solaris) with the exception of Kurumi, who managed to get away before things could go badly. Now that she had full reigns over the Lab, Solstice was free to perform whatever twisted experiments she wanted, and did the following:
- Bumped the Subject count up from about 100 to 1000
- Tinkered with the Cloning Vat (an absolutely vital part to the Lab, produces cloned workers made with Eve's DNA) so that it produces far more workers to make up for this, at the expense of them having extremely short lifespans on their own (6 months to a year, assuming they're not killed by either Solstice or a Subject first)
- Actively worsened the living conditions of the Subjects, because she felt like it.
- As the Subjects were now very likely to escape containment and try to fight their way out, she established the Threat Levels. Subjects #001-010 are Critical Threats who can very easily take out large swaths of the Lab and are top priority to recontain, Severe Threats are tough, about pseudolegend strength, Moderate Threats are about the strength of a normal pokemon, Minor Threats are the strength of a NFE pokemon or a crippled fully evolved pokemon, Minimal Threats are either inanimate objects or so weak that even a Worker could recontain them on their own.
- Created a new Subject #001, "Power Core": A Jolteon rigged to created extreme levels of static electricity, whose powers are harvested to power the newly expanded Lab. The former #001 was moved to the slot of #002.
The Exodus was caused by this new #001 failing: Solstice relied on it for power far too much, and with it failing the entire lab was powerless and every subject was able to breach simultaneously. Despite this, Solstice was able to contain every critical but #008 "Ghost in the Machine" and #010 "Eternal Youth, Defiled" (who just simply didn't exist pre-Exodus), who had fled to another area (I'll elaborate in a sec). A lot of subjects died in this ensuing catastrophe, however some were able to make it out alive. The notable ones were Umbra & Nocturne (Moderate Threat), Frosty (Minimal Threat), Ember (Severe Threat, modified fire gland leaves her unable to generate body heat and she swells up and non-fatally explodes if she uses a fire attack), and Tani (Minimal Threat, one of the main Subjects used as a personal punching bag by Solstice and modified to be unable to photosynthesize (she gets sunburn instead)), who.... somehow, I'm still unsure how they did it, managed to flee to safety and reach The Mansion, which is one of the two primary locations in the setting. #008 specifically fled to here as well, and is currently living in someone's laptop. The Mansion is owned by The Trainer (unnamed, pretty much me) and he leaves his pokemon to live however in it. It's a lot better than it sounds, trust me. These four fled to the Cellar, which is really big due to Solstice having warped it using #001 (the alive one)'s powers to make room for a new Lab. in the time the four (who I have affectionately nicknamed The Freaks) took to reach the Mansion. The reason Solstice and #008 know about this place is because they had done business dealings with the Trainer before.
There is an entire city within the cellar, which is just called the Cellar City, that is comprised of mainly escaped Subjects from the new Lab and stray pokemon from outside the Mansion. These four, for a while, lived outside the Cellar City in a little shack. They had to fight off a few waves of workers once in a while (which is way easier than it sounds, a standard worker nowadays is much weaker than a normal Eevee with a few exceptions) as Solstice still wants to grab some of these escaped Subjects and drag them back to the lab. Eventually they had a few others move in with them: 675 (Yes, that's her name. Was intended to be a worker as part of an experiment in restoring the damaged gene template in the Lab's cloning vat, something went wrong and she became Subject #675 instead. Minor threat, she is an Eevee with extreme regenerative properties, unique in that she was actually kicked out by Solstice because she was too annoying), Amalgam (Formerly Subject #004 "The Great Flood". Due to Solstice's incompetence, Critical Subjects #004, #005 "Nightrot" (kinda, I'll explain soon), #008, #009 "Endless Hunger", and #010 have all managed to escape. Critical Threat, a massive mass of Ditto made up of the shared consciousness of several dozen workers. Not the entire #004, but enough that splitting off from #004 pretty much killed the original), and Gardetank (You know that pokemon fusion website? Combine a gardevoir and miltank and you've pretty much got her. Moderate threat.)
Eventually the original four Freaks befriended a few Mansiondwellers, mainly Aqua (havent drawn her yet, short awkward lttle vaporeon who's part of the original three characters made for this setting. Pathetic enough to somehow manage to befriend almost everyone she comes across.) After getting to know a bit about the mansion through visiting her and her friends, the four decide to move up to the Mansion which is where they currently reside. 675, Amalgam, and Gardetank stuck behind because they like living in the Cellar too much.
Hope that explains it.
While I'm at it, I'm gonna explain the rest of the characters I've posted so far.
A particularly bad strain of #005 "accidentally" got out and plagued the outskirts of the cellar for a while, creating the Zomvees. If you've ever played Warframe, think a knockoff of the Infestation. Zenith was a Cellardweller who was assigned to one of the Zomvee extermination teams. On her first day of the job, she came across these three, who were formerly escaped workers who got infected (who knows what Plast is, though, because I sure don't). Toma's pleads for mercy convinced her enough to smuggle them back home and try to develop a cure for the Zomvee virus. She regrettably did business with Solstice during this time, as Solstice was the only one who actually knew anything about the virus. Eventually, she stabbed Zenith in the back by kidnapping her (along with the Zomvees she took in) and deliberately infecting her with the virus, turning her into her current state. The four managed to get out after a month or two, and now live on the outskirts of the cellar. They're the last active Zomvees out there, as during the time she spent in the Lab the Zomvees were pretty much entirely purged. Through active decontamination efforts the four are able to visit the City once in a while, however they have to wear these little hazmat suits while they're around noninfected.
Velvet and Lithium (Velvet's the sylveon, Lithium's the luxray) are actually owned by someone completely different. Their owner, however, is ridiculously negligent and favors Lithium entirely. Constant torment from Lithium caused all these damages to Velvet, and she routinely flees her home and seeks the depths of the Cellar for safety. As you can see here, unfortunately, it doesn't work. Lithium almost always hunts her down and drags her back home, but not before brutalizing her first.
Verdinia, who can be seen here crushing Aqua, is actually one of Aqua's closest friends and one of the three original characters added to the setting, along with Saccharine (who I haven't drawn yet).
Galia, despite seeming to be a Subject at first glance, is closer to a regional form. Gifted to the Trainer, she comes from a breed of vaporeon used as essentially living canteens by desert travelers. Her weight is almost entirely from constantly drinking water, her instincts make her anxious if she's skinny as she sees being empty as a sign of hard times. She's been meaning to have someone take her picture, but currently they're busy...
With #008 gone, Solstice found herself missing someone to sift through the constant surveillance footage and write new info on subject containment procedures. To fix this, she "hired" Petri, one of the very few evolved workers, to help her out with the paperwork 24/7. If you look closely, you can see she's currently working on #010's subject log.

They're both stubborn little gremlins, that's for sure. Umbra's passionate about what she likes and Nocturne's on the crankier side, sick and tired of hearing Umbra gush over things like fashion and literature. It doesn't help that Umbra's the extrovert of the two, dragging (sometimes almost literally) Nocturne around to talk to the others. It wouldn't be the same without Nocturne, though, since she's the voice of reason of the two, making sure Umbra doesn't do anything too stupid that'd get the both of them hurt. The differing tastes is both figurative and literal, they've had more than a few arguments over what they should eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
As for what they do right now, they currently live with Ember, Frosty, and Tani. Life's not exactly normal for them yet (they're still shook up from being in the Lab, there's more than a few weirdos in the Mansion, and the others miss their trainers) but overall they're in a good spot right now.

Yup, with my twin ninetales, Anna alone may have gotten herself hurt in some situations if May had not been there to stop her.
Anna also often likes lying in, sleeping for longer, which can lead to May being awake while her sister is still sleeping, and since they only have control of certain parts of their body, rather then shared control of the full body, she's stuck lying down until Anna is up, and Anna is rather a heavy sleeper.

Though they do normally get on Well, having been that way their whole lives.
I'm curious with how breathing goes with Umbra and Nocturne, assuming they share a pair of lungs? Anna and May each have a separate heart and lungs, so have not got a problem with that, though most of their other organs are shared, stomach, intestines, etc

Hmmmm...... Usually they argue about it for a while before begrudgingly agreeing on something, which can sometimes take a while. Umbra's a bit of a jerk sometimes and occasionally makes Nocturne control the body when they have to go on long walks or do physically taxing stuff (Of course Nocturne gives in. What is she gonna do, have them just flop onto the ground and do nothing?) As for routine stuff they agree on doing, it depends. For example, getting out of/preparing to go to bed is decided by one of them beforehand, but other things are usually on the fly. What about Anna and May? Do they decide who does what, or do they not have a choice due to only having partial control each?
Anna and May always have to coordinate their movements to get around. Anna, the one with the pink ribbon, controls the right legs, while May, the one with the red neck bandanna, controls the left legs.
Anna controls most of the body (e.g. May can't really control moving their torso) and all but two tails, they don't have equal half and half control of their body.

and I guess a couple of other questions...
are there any things they both enjoy? and on the other hand, things that one of them likes but the other absolutely hates?
Then there's a question about how they do fighting, I imagine they can both fire moves from their mouths at once?
Anna and May are capable of doing the same, but that puts quite a strain on their body and can tire them out rather quickly.

They both enjoy music, sightseeing, and other activites that don't require controlling the body since they can both experience them at once. Most of each head's preferences are things the other hates. Each of them actually have their own moveset, but they always bicker over what to do and end up wasting their turns.
Bit of both, they decided Double Team would be funny to learn, since, y'know, the two heads, but other than that their movesets were like that before. What about Anna and May? I assume they've had the first three moves their whole lives due to being born like that, then have differing last moves from deliberate effort?
There wasn't really any time between them being kidnapped and the procedure, from their perspective they passed out and woke up melded together some time in the future. The first few weeks after being combined were very rough, as they had to get used to sharing a body, but after the first month it wasn't as bad.
They actually did know each other beforehand, but didn't get along well even before... I'm sure you can imagine how they'd feel, waking up attached to someone they don't like. They've somewhat gotten over it though, mainly because they have to. Are Anna and May wild pokemon, or currently owned by a trainer? What's their life like?
