The thing I find funny is the fact that we had a BP gas station a bike ride from my house and it left just as quickly as it came because no one stopped to buy any gas from them because they were too expensive compared to everyone else.
Once they left a Sunoco was put in a few months after. Now you see people going in and out of there all the time. The building was originally a Irving station but they left for some reason even though they had a good amount of customers.
But it seems that Irving bought the small Mobil station that was at the corner of the road you turn off to get on to my street. So the Mobil station was torn down, a Maplefields was put in and Irving put in a bigger gas station with a truck plaza for all the truck drivers. So it seems they just left for a bit and came back.

You've done such a great job of capturing the staggering ignorance that is the average seagull's life. But where is the anger?! I don't know that I've ever met a seagull that wasn't peeved about some little thing.
On a side note, I used to toss bits of churro to the seagulls at a school I went to in California... and then after a while I'd throw a rock up and see if they were stupid enough to think it was more churro. They were.

This is starting to get a LITTLE unfair now. Ok, they've made a mistake, and yes, it's going to probably cost them the american side of their business, but it was an acident, the like of which has never really happened before, so they're doing everything they can to stop the leak!
If this was any other type of company, where vast amounts of natural resource wasn't being lost, no-one would care!

The accident could have been avoided if they didn't take shortcuts and keep their rigs up to code. The BP plant in Texas City, TX, which incidentally is just right down the road from where I live, has had explosions like nothing else. I think there's been two or three explosions within the past eight years. This is when a plant NOT being up to code was cheaper than bringing it up to code.
BP is just a money grabbing sludge bucket of a company, and that's all there is to it. Sympathizers need to check their facts and numbers before they decide to go with them. It's only a matter of time before we kill that company and take our oil supply back.
