A local celebrity, the MerManta resides in the waters around the seaside city of Morihama, Japan. He's friendly, he's cute, and he attracts tourists from around the world in the hopes that they'll catch a glimpse of his unique tail. While most might become irritated with being gawked at all the time, the MerManta revels in all the attention he receives and the fame it's brought him—and he definitely likes all the gifts he receives from his adoring fans!
This is part of an art trade between myself and @tittle_moon! He and I crossed currents during MerMay of this year and this handsome MerManta was only the first of his adorable characters that I fell in love with, so it was great to have an excuse to draw him!
